Meetings

We meet at least once a month, usually the third Wednesday, for a social evening, when we may have a quiz, auction, or maybe a talk (not necessarily motor related). Throughout the year we like to go out on runs into the surrounding countryside, visiting venues of interest combined with Pub Lunches at the nicest of Hotelries. An annual barbeque is held in July at the above venue, and on that night in particular, members show their classics. Once the nights get light we occasionally like to get "out and about" and have a run to somewhere interesting or to a fairly local Pub (usually no more than an hour's run away from our base).

We're not a "stay at home" club. Whatever we do, Club nights are always good fun, and there are often things to do at weekends too, like shows to visit where we might have a stand; runs to museums, barbecues or perhaps a run to the countryside.

In June we also hold an annual charity tour, the "Peaks & Dales Run". Always very popular, and 2008's run is to be the 12th such event. See the Photo Galley for pictures of 2007's event.
