V reg 1999 Rover BRM
N° 32 of a limited edition of 795. Reluctant sale but the car has to go as I have now purchased an MGTF 160. The BRM is in excellent condition, having 1 owner until 2006 and FSH. It was then owned for 3 months before I bought the car with 36000miles on the clock. It has now done 47700 miles. During my ownership I have replaced all the belts, the battery, put 2 new high performance tyres on it, added MGZR
Trophy rear lights and chrome mesh behind the orange mouth, a 3.5 inch S/S back box, CD player and new mats. The car is 148bhp coming from the 1.8 VVC engine with a 0-60 of 7.9seconds, I have never thrashed it. Full red leather diamond stitched interior with real alloy embellishments i.e., speaker surrounds, heater switches, gear knob and facia. Rover lowered the suspension i on the model and added a slip diff, 16 inch alloys along with an electric sunroof. Rover priced the BRM at 18K when released and it really is far superior to the MG ZR and a future sports classic. There is a newly established club, [thebrm.co.uk ]. Though I have taken the car off the road it is MOT’d until March 2009. It also has a Tracker device fitted.
